King Tut: Forgotten Treasure (2019)
King Tutankhamun has always been full of mystery, of course, probably more than any other pharoah. He rose to the throne when he was very young, he died very young, and there’s all sorts of conjecture about what his life was like. His tomb was discovered by Howard Carter just over a century ago, and was remarkable for its being pretty much intact, unlike other royal tombs that were vandalized and plundered.
Those treasures are still giving up their stories, and King Tut: Forgotten Treasures shares a few of those stories with us. The documentary is very short, clocking in at about an hour, but it packs in quite a bit of fascinating information.
