When I saw Immaculate I didn’t know what to expect except that it looked like an Omen prequel collided with Rosemary’s Baby and the Nun movies. Amazingly enough, I had the whole screening room to myself which meant I could react in any way I wanted to, and it wasn’t long before I was extremely glad to be alone.
Put it this way: When Act Two hit, I checked my watch. By the time Act Three rolled around, I was scrolling through Instagram, wanting it to all be over.
This review will have spoilers and I don’t care. Then again, horror aficionados probably won’t be surprised at anything I’m going to say.
